The Delaware Higher Education Office administers 23 state-sponsored financial aid programs and eight private scholarship programs. They also publish a Delaware Scholarship Compendium each fall and offer checklists on what to do in high school to meet financial aid and college planning deadlines.

Delaware Technical Community College receives Aid to needy Delaware students (DANS grants) directly from the State of Delaware. The funds are awarded on the basis of need.
